Dr. Asma Deeb

Dr. Asma Deeb is a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist and Chair of the Paediatric Endocrinology Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With more than 25 years of experience in paediatric endocrinology, her clinical interests include paediatric diabetes, diabetes technology, disorders of sex development, metabolic disorders, and paediatric obesity. She is also a Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at Khalifa University and Gulf Medical University and has previously held leadership and academic positions at Al Mafraq Hospital, the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, and academic institutions in the United Kingdom. Dr. Deeb has authored more than 120 publications and research papers and has held editorial and professional leadership positions in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. She has served as President of the Arab Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and has contributed to research, education, and clinical initiatives in paediatric endocrine and rare diseases. She was a speaker at the 4th International UAE Rare Disease Society Congress, where the official congress brochure identified her as Chair of the Paediatric Endocrinology Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.
