Sofie Nelis

Dr. Sofie Eline Nelis is a Lead Medical Education Specialist at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital. She is part of Aspetar's Medical Education Team and is involved in medical education, evidence-based medicine, and shared decision-making in sports medicine. Aspetar identifies her as a PhD student researching Shared Decision Making in Elite Sport, in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Dutch IOC Research Centre.

Aspetar also identifies Dr. Nelis as the Vice-Chair of the Aspetar Clinical Guidelines and Pathways Committee, where she represents Medical Education. Earlier Aspetar clinical guideline documents identify her as the Deputy Chair and Lead Medical Education Specialist.
