Prof. Soumiya Chiheb

Prof. Soumiya Chiheb is a Moroccan dermatologist and academic specializing in clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, skin cancers, psoriasis, melanoma, and nail disorders. She is affiliated with Hassan II University, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, and serves as Head of the Department of Dermatology-Venereology at CHU Ibn Rochd in Casablanca.

She has an extensive research record in dermatology. Her publications cover a broad range of clinical dermatology topics, including onychology, skin tumors, inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, dermatopathology, and rare dermatoses. Her 2021 study on subungual exostosis, for example, was conducted through the nail-disorders clinic of the Department of Dermatology at Ibn Rochd University Hospital.

Her expertise in difficult clinical diagnosis is particularly consistent with her MEIDAM session. She has published case reports and clinical studies involving uncommon dermatological conditions, including onychomatricoma, seborrheic keratosis-like melanoma, familial Hailey-Hailey disease, and other challenging dermatoses.
