Prof. Nasser Alsanea

Prof. Nasser Alsanea is a Saudi colorectal surgeon, academic and healthcare leader with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of colorectal diseases. He is Professor of Colon & Rectal Surgery and Director General of Health Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and also holds an academic appointment at Alfaisal University.

He previously served as Head of the Colon & Rectal Surgery Section at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh from 2000 to 2020. He is a former President of the Saudi Society of Colon & Rectal Surgery and former Chairman of the Saudi Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications and is an Honorary Fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons.
