Prof. Andreas Gruber

Prof. Andreas Gruber is a neurosurgeon and academic leader based in Austria. He trained in neurosurgery at the Medical University of Vienna under Professors Koos and Knosp and subsequently specialized in both neurosurgery and intensive-care medicine. His clinical and research interests include cerebrovascular microsurgery, endovascular neurosurgery and neurosurgical intensive-care medicine.

He currently serves as Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Kepler University Hospital Linz and Dean of Research at the Medical Faculty of Johannes Kepler University Linz. He also holds significant professional leadership roles, including President of the Austrian Society of Neurosurgery, Secretary of the Section of Neurosurgery of the European Union of Medical Specialists and a board position within the cerebrovascular section of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies.
