Ms Samira Cutts

Samira Cutts is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with 24 years of clinical experience in neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation and neuropsychiatric care. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of complex upper limb conditions, acquired neurological disorders, and the integration of advanced neuromodulation therapies into rehabilitative practice.

As a Neuromodulation and Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Practitioner, Samira offers innovative treatment approaches for patients with acquired brain injuries, ADHD, mood disorders, and chronic systemic inflammatory conditions affecting the upper extremity. Her clinical practice incorporates Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) techniques including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), EEG, and neurofeedback to address neuropsychiatric symptoms, enhance neuroplasticity, and optimize functional outcomes.

Currently completing her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, Samira’s research focuses on the clinical applications of neuromodulation for diverse presentations including persistent pain, cognitive dysfunction, mood disorders, and chronic stress-related conditions. Her work examines the neurobiological mechanisms underlying these conditions and how targeted brain stimulation can promote recovery and improve quality of life.

Samira is committed to translating cutting-edge neuroscience research into clinical practice, bridging the gap between neuromodulation research and rehabilitation. Her integrative approach addresses the complex interplay between neurological, inflammatory, and psychological factors that impact health and wellbeing, bringing evidence-based neuromodulation therapies to patients with challenging clinical presentations across neuropsychiatric and neuro-musculoskeletal domains.

She is a registered Occupational Therapist licensed with DHA, HAAD, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) UK, and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) UK.
