Midwife Hayat Alhosani

Midwife Hayat Alhosani is an Emirati midwifery and maternal-health professional serving as Unit Manager and Midwife at Fujairah Hospital, Emirates Health Services (EHS). She also serves as Research Coordinator at Fujairah Hospital and coordinates the hospital's Positive Childbirth Experience Initiative, focusing on improving maternity care and women's experiences throughout pregnancy and childbirth.

She initially completed a Diploma in Nursing Sciences at Fujairah Institute and later earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sharjah. She subsequently pursued specialist education in midwifery at the Oman Institute of Specialized Nursing, graduating with distinction before returning to practice as a midwife in the UAE.

Her professional interests include midwifery, maternal health, positive childbirth experiences, maternity nursing, women's health, clinical research and patient-centered maternity care.
