Dr. Courville completed his undergraduate education at McNeese State University and earned his medical degree from SABA University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and cardiovascular fellowship training at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, where he served as chief fellow. He subsequently completed advanced training in interventional cardiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
His professional work has focused particularly on heart failure management, chronic cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and remote patient monitoring. He is the founder of Pulsario, a remote heart-management platform designed to support real-time monitoring and management of patients with cardiovascular disease and heart failure.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Heart Failure Society of America (FHFSA), and is also associated with the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
