Imad Hashim

Dr. Imad Hashim Ahmad is an experienced neurosurgeon and spine surgeon with a career spanning more than four decades. He received his medical degree from Mosul Medical College in Iraq in 1977 and subsequently completed the FRCS examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He obtained his FRCS in Neurosurgery in 1986.

He currently practices as a consultant neurosurgeon and spine surgeon and has visiting-surgeon roles at Mediclinic City Hospital and Canadian Specialist Hospital. He is also an adjunct professor of neurosurgery and has previously served as President of the Emirates Neuroscience Society. His professional activities include education and training through AO Spine Middle East and peer review for the Global Spine Journal.
