Hisham Badreldin is the Director of the Saudi Biobank Center at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) in Saudi Arabia. He has played a significant role in building and scaling Saudi Arabia's national biobank, contributing to the development of a major population-genomics resource supporting precision medicine and research initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Dr. Hisham A. Badreldin is a Clinical Assistant Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy Specialist at King Abdulaziz Cardiac Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 cardiovascular residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). He also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University in Washington, DC. His research investigates multiple CV topics including atrial fibrillation, venous thromboembolism, anticoagulation therapy heart failure, acute coronary diseases, antiplatelet therapy, and CV real-world outcomes
His work focuses on biobanking, population genomics, precision medicine, biomedical research, and the use of large-scale biological and genomic data to advance healthcare and scientific discovery.
Dr. Badreldin is a featured speaker at BIO Middle East 2026, where he joins international leaders from the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, research, and life-sciences sectors. The event will take place from 14–16 December 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
