Dr. Thikra A M Hassan

Dr. Thikra A. M. Hassan is a Consultant Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, completed training in Iraq and at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, and obtained the Arab Board in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2002. She joined Tawam Hospital in 2005 and has led its gynecologic oncology service since 2015.

Her clinical and academic work focuses on gynecologic cancers, cervical cancer prevention and multidisciplinary women's cancer care. She has contributed to publications on gynecological malignancies and has participated in Abu Dhabi initiatives for cervical cancer prevention.

She has also served as Chair of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Tawam Hospital, and is listed by the Emirates Oncology Society as Chief of Oncology – Obstetrics & Gynecology.
