Dr. Syed Ali

Dr. Syed M. Asad Ali is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and cataract surgery. His expertise includes congenital eye disorders, paediatric cataracts, glaucoma, ocular trauma and strabismus. He has more than 10 years of experience in screening and treating retinopathy of prematurity using retinal laser and intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy. He completed ophthalmology training in Pakistan and the United Kingdom and undertook a fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility at Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary. He has also been involved in academic teaching and ophthalmology research.
