Dr. Suhaila Qayed

Dr. Suhaila Hussain Qayed is a healthcare administration leader and medical education specialist with more than two decades of professional experience across the UAE and the United Kingdom. She currently serves as Director of the Training & Continuing Education Department at Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), where she leads strategic planning, accreditation and competency development for emergency medical training programs.

She previously held several senior positions at Dubai Health Authority, including Head of Academic Affairs and Director of the DHA Office in London. During her time in medical education, she was involved in establishing and managing the Dubai Residency Training Program and developing partnerships with international institutions. Earlier in her career, she practiced as a family physician.

Dr. Qayed earned her MBBS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Zayed University. Her professional expertise includes medical education, emergency medical training, healthcare leadership, competency development, accreditation, digital transformation and organizational development.
