Dr. Sally Mohamed Shaaban

Dr. Sally Mohamed Shaaban is a Clinical Neurologist, Epileptologist & Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University, Faculty of Medicine, Egypt. She is also the Representative of the Young Epilepsy Section (YES) of the ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Region. Her professional work focuses on neurology and epilepsy, and she is involved in epilepsy-related academic and professional activities within the Eastern Mediterranean region.

She is a member of the ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Executive Board, where she serves as the YES Representative. She is also a member of the International League Against Epilepsy's Career Development Commission.

Dr. Shaaban has also been involved in epilepsy awareness and education initiatives. She led the Minds of Light project at Mansoura University, an evidence-based animated video series designed to address misconceptions and stigma surrounding epilepsy in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
