Dr. Raidah Saleem Al-Baradie, MD is a Saudi Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. She is recognized internationally for her work in pediatric epilepsy, epileptic encephalopathies and comprehensive epilepsy care.

She completed specialist training in Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital in the United States. She obtained American Board certification in Child Neurology in 2006 and the American Board of Epilepsy certification in 2016. She also completed an Executive Master's in Health Administration in 2013/2014.

Dr. Al-Baradie has contributed to research in pediatric epilepsy and rare neurological disorders, including work on genetic epileptic encephalopathies, seizure disorders and epilepsy treatment.
Her research has included cerebral folate deficiency and folinic-acid-responsive seizures, as well as studies of genetic disorders associated with severe childhood epilepsy. She has also published on ataxia-telangiectasia and its neurological manifestations.
A major achievement in her career is her leadership within the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).
She served on the ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Regional Board during 2021–2025.
In 2025, she was elected Chair of the ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Region for the 2025–2029 term, receiving all 11 votes cast by eligible regional chapters.
She currently serves as Chair of ILAE-Eastern Mediterranean and is also a member of several ILAE committees and councils, including the Executive Committee, Education Council, Global Advocacy Council and Pediatric SUDEP Task Force.
