Dr. Nissren Kafi is a Consultant Pediatric Neonatologist at King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital (KFAFH), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she serves as Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She is also a member of both the Organizing Committee and Scientific Committee of CHILDEX: Origins 2026, the child-health conference organized by KFAFH and the Ministry of Defense.
Dr. Kafi's clinical specialty is neonatology, with her work focused on the care of newborn infants requiring specialized and intensive medical management. As Director of the NICU, she has a leadership role in the organization and delivery of neonatal intensive-care services at KFAFH.
Her involvement in CHILDEX also reflects an active role in pediatric and neonatal professional education.
