Dr. Nicholas Thomas

Dr. Nicholas Thomas is a consultant neurosurgeon at King's College Hospital, where he has practiced since 1998. He specializes in skull-base and complex spine surgery, with particular expertise in both open and endoscopic approaches. His clinical interests include craniovertebral junction disorders, including basilar invagination.

Dr. Thomas has maintained a strong international educational and humanitarian profile. He has undertaken voluntary medical work in Sri Lanka for 26 years and continues to support and teach surgeons in Malta. He has also held leadership positions in skull-base organizations, including Secretary and President of the British Skull Base Society, and currently serves as President-Elect of the European Skull Base Society.
