Dr. Nader Francis is a Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist and Head of the Pediatric Pulmonology Division at Al Qassimi Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Sharjah, UAE. He has more than 25 years of experience in pediatrics and pediatric respiratory medicine. His clinical interests include pediatric chest diseases, bronchoscopy, and interstitial lung disease.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Aleppo, Syria, in 1990, followed by pediatric specialization at the University Catholique de Louvain in Brussels, Belgium, and fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He returned to Syria in 1998, where he worked in pediatric pulmonology at Aleppo University before joining Al Qassimi Hospital in the UAE in 2016.
Dr. Francis has contributed to research in pediatric respiratory medicine, including studies involving pediatric bronchoscopy, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, and other pediatric pulmonary conditions. His recent publications continue to list his affiliation with the Pediatric Pulmonology Department at Al Qassimi Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
