Dr. Nader Darwich

Dr. Nader Darwich is a French-trained Consultant Knee Surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. He specializes in knee and sports medicine, with expertise in arthroscopic surgery, ACL and knee ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgery, cartilage procedures, and the treatment of sports injuries. He received his medical degree from Damascus University and completed postgraduate orthopaedic training in France, obtaining his specialist qualification in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery from the University of Nancy. He has also undertaken further clinical training and experience in the United Kingdom and United States. Dr. Darwich began practicing in the UAE in 1996 and established the Abu Dhabi Knee & Sports Medicine Centre in 2006, followed by the Burjeel Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Abu Dhabi. He has performed thousands of orthopaedic procedures and has participated in more than 70 international orthopaedic and sports medicine conferences. His academic work includes publications and book chapters in the field of ACL and knee surgery. He has served as a speaker, moderator, and faculty member at numerous orthopaedic and sports medicine conferences. At the 13th International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, Middle East (ICJR 2027), he is listed as a member of the ICJR Team, with the congress managed by InfoPlus Events LLC.
