Dr. Muna Khalfan

Dr. Muna Khalfan is a Fetal Medicine Consultant and Head of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Al Qassimi Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Emirates Health Services (EHS), Sharjah, UAE. She holds the Saudi Board and Arab Board qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical work focuses on obstetrics, gynecology, and fetal medicine, with particular involvement in prenatal assessment and the management of pregnancy-related conditions.

She has been involved in clinical and academic activities related to fetal medicine and prenatal diagnosis, including work involving fetal ultrasound and screening. Her professional publications include research in obstetrics and gynecology, with her affiliation identified as Al Qassimi Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Emirates Health Services.

Dr. Khalfan has also participated in professional education as a speaker. At the 4th EHS International Obstetrics & Gynecology Conference in 2025, she delivered sessions on complications of the first trimester and basic fetal echocardiography.
