Dr. Minal Patwardhan Andrade

Dr. Minal Patwardhan Andrade is an Indian-trained dermatologist who has practiced in the UAE since 1993. She obtained her MD and Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Sion Hospital, Mumbai, and later established Minal Medical Centre in Sharjah in 1997.

She has extensive experience in clinical and cosmetic dermatology, laser medicine, skin aging, and aesthetic treatments. She is particularly recognized for being among the early dermatologists in the UAE to adopt laser hair-removal technology, beginning in 1997. She has also presented research internationally and contributed to dermatology textbooks.

Her current MEIDAM topic on the gut-skin axis is consistent with her broader interest in skin aging and regeneration. She previously presented research on skin aging and skin regeneration in an ex vivo human skin model at Dubai Derma.
