Dr. Maxine Fernandes is a DHA-registered aesthetic physician with over seven years of experience in general practice and five years specializing in advanced aesthetic medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Professional Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (ADAM) from the Foundation for Professional Development in South Africa. Additionally, she is Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). Her clinical experience includes roles as a General Practitioner/Medical Officer for the Western Cape Department in South Africa, as well as an Aesthetic Physician at clinics in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, such as CosmeSurge.
