Dr. Maria Karakoulaki

Dr. Maria Karakoulaki is a German- and Greek-board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in aesthetic and functional gynecology, menopause medicine and women's health optimization. She studied medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich and Cornell University, then completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynecology in Munich and Athens.

She holds a Master's degree in Gynecologic Endocrinology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has more than two decades of experience in women's health. Her clinical interests include aesthetic gynecology, intimate rejuvenation, menopause, hormonal health, functional gynecology and sexual wellness.

She previously served as Medical Director of Aesthetics at King's College Hospital London in Dubai and became known for her work in treatments for vaginismus, intimate rejuvenation and aesthetic gynecology. In 2024, she founded Gýneco, a Dubai clinic dedicated to aesthetic and functional gynecology.
