Dr. Hosam Elhalwagy

Dr. Hosam Elhalwagy, MD, FRCOG is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with specialist expertise in urogynecology, pelvic floor medicine and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. He previously worked as Lead Urogynaecologist at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in the UK and served on the British Society of Urogynaecology governance committee.

His clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, urodynamics, endometriosis, hysteroscopy and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. He has published more than 26 international publications and has contributed to RCOG educational courses.

His current DHA licence shows him as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Canadian Specialist Hospital, Dubai. His previous UAE affiliations include Emirates Hospital, Mediclinic Welcare and Medeor.
