Dr. Francesco Doglietto is Professor of Neurosurgery at the Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome and practices as a neurosurgeon at Gemelli Foundation Hospital. His professional development includes training under internationally recognized neurosurgeons in skull-base surgery and neurosurgery. During his residency, he trained with Dr. Giorgio Frank and Pasquini in Bologna in 2005 and later worked with Prof. Fred Gentili in Toronto, Canada, during 2008–2009. He subsequently worked in Brescia with Prof. Nicolai.
His current clinical work focuses on open and endoscopic skull-base surgery and neuro-oncology. His combination of academic teaching, complex skull-base surgery and neuro-oncology places him among the international faculty contributing specialized expertise to the Masterclass.
