Dr. Ding-Han Wang

Dr. Ding-Han Wang is an Associate Professor at the College of Dentistry, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, and Deputy Director of the Oral Medicine Innovation Center. His work lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital dentistry, extended reality, and translational oral medicine. He leads interdisciplinary research on AI-assisted dental imaging, tooth and lesion detection, three-dimensional segmentation, digital twins, and immersive learning systems, with the goal of transforming advanced technologies into practical tools for clinical care and dental education. His research also spans the oral microbiome, geriatric oral health, and sustainable healthcare innovation. Dr. Wang develops open and reproducible workflows for dental AI and collaborates with hospitals, engineering teams, and industry partners to validate solutions in real-world settings. He is committed to building responsible, clinically meaningful, and scalable AI ecosystems for the future of dentistry.
