Prof. Dalal Ahmed Alromaihi, MD is a Consultant Endocrinologist and diabetes specialist from Bahrain, with expertise in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolic health. She is currently associated with Awali Hospital, Bahrain, and also serves as an Associate Professor/Clinical Associate Professor at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB).
After completing her specialist training in the United States, Dr. Alromaihi worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Arizona. She returned to Bahrain in 2014 and joined King Hamad University Hospital as a Consultant Endocrinologist.
At King Hamad University Hospital, she held senior responsibilities including Head of the Internal Medicine Department and Program Director of the Saudi Board Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Since December 2022, she has been listed as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Awali Hospital.

She was a co-author of the 2020 paper “Sustainable diabetes care services during COVID-19 pandemic,” affiliated with King Hamad University Hospital, RCSI-MUB and the Bahrain Diabetes Society.
More recently, she has contributed to GCC research examining GLP-1 receptor agonists and SGLT2 inhibitors in people with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular risk.
