Dr. Adel Tash

Dr. Adel A. Tash is a senior cardiac surgeon and healthcare executive who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. His career combines clinical expertise in adult cardiac surgery with national-level leadership in cardiovascular care, healthcare transformation and quality improvement.

Before becoming CEO of King Abdullah Medical City, he served as Director General of the National Heart Center at the Saudi Health Council and held senior roles focused on the development of cardiac services in Saudi Arabia. His clinical background includes adult cardiac surgery and advanced heart-failure surgery, and he has been involved in developing national cardiovascular pathways, guidelines and quality initiatives.

He is also President of the Saudi Society of Cardiac Surgeons, where he contributes to advancing cardiac surgical practice, professional education, research and national standards of care.
