Dr. Dalia Haroun is an Associate Professor of Nutrition in the Department of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD in Child Health Nutrition from University College London, UK, and previously worked at the UCL Institute of Child Health/Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she contributed to national body composition data and research on the effects of disease on nutrition and growth.
Her research focuses on body composition, metabolism, obesity, and dietary assessment in Emirati populations, with the goal of improving nutrition-related health outcomes
