The Qatar Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Conference – QPEDC 2026 is a two-day, in-person multidisciplinary conference organized by Sidra Medicine, taking place on 27–28 November 2026 in Qatar. The conference focuses on advances in pediatric diabetes, obesity, growth and puberty disorders, endocrine diseases, diabetes technology, and emerging precision-medicine approaches.
QPEDC 2026 brings together pediatricians, endocrinologists, diabetologists, nurses, dietitians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents with endocrine conditions. The scientific programme covers childhood diabetes management, growth and puberty disorders, childhood obesity, thyroid and endocrine emergencies, and the future of type 1 diabetes. Sessions will explore topics such as type 2 diabetes in youth, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, short stature, growth hormone treatment, novel obesity therapies, and endocrine emergencies. The conference also examines emerging approaches to type 1 diabetes, including screening and prevention, immune-modulating therapies, islet transplantation, and stem-cell-based treatments. Interactive workshops, expert-led lectures, and case-based discussions provide opportunities to apply current evidence and clinical approaches to pediatric endocrine care. The event also emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, precision medicine, digital health, diabetes technology, and research and quality improvement
