AO Trauma Advanced Seminar—Pelvic Fracture Management

The AO Trauma Advanced Seminar—Pelvic Fracture Management is a specialized one-day educational programme designed for experienced surgeons seeking to strengthen their knowledge and decision-making skills in the management of complex pelvic injuries. Organized by the AO Foundation, the seminar will take place on 28 November 2026 in Amman, Jordan and forms part of the AO Trauma Middle East and Northern Africa 2026 educational programme. The seminar provides an evidence-based review of contemporary approaches to pelvic ring and acetabular fractures, with particular emphasis on injury classification, diagnostic imaging, surgical indications, preoperative planning, fixation strategies, and postoperative management. Participants will examine the challenges associated with complex pelvic trauma and explore approaches for achieving stable fixation while minimizing complications.
