18th Gulf Heart Association Conference

The 18th Gulf Heart Association Conference is a three-day scientific meeting taking place from 12–14 November 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Organized in collaboration with the Gulf Heart Association and Oman Heart Association, the conference brings together regional and international experts to discuss advances in cardiovascular medicine, research, and clinical practice. The scientific programme spans a broad range of cardiovascular disciplines, including cardiac arrhythmias, cardiovascular disease prevention, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, interventional and ischemic heart disease, multimodality imaging, valvular diseases and structural interventions, adult congenital heart disease, and cardio-obstetric care. Plenary sessions also address emerging areas such as artificial intelligence in cardiovascular care, equitable delivery of cardiovascular services, obesity management, guideline implementation, and the cardiovascular impact of diabetes. The conference emphasizes evidence-based medicine and the translation of scientific advances into practical clinical care. Sessions include expert-led discussions, real-world case presentations, interactive formats, and multidisciplinary discussions designed to support clinical decision-making in common, complex, and high-risk cardiovascular conditions. In addition to the scientific programme, GHA 2026 features parallel workshops, poster and oral research presentations, and satellite symposia. The conference also provides opportunities for participants to engage with emerging cardiovascular technologies and innovations through exhibitor showcases and industry-supported sessions. The event is intended for cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, internists, family physicians, general practitioners, cardiology fellows in training, primary-care physicians, nurses working in cardiology, medical students, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in cardiovascular medicine. GHA 2026 provides opportunities for scientific exchange, professional networking, and collaboration among cardiovascular professionals from the Gulf region and beyond. Accreditation by the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) is currently under process, according to the official conference programme.
